A late penalty from Kevin Musamali was all Kariobangi Sharks needed to hold Bidco United to a 1-1 draw in their FKF Premier League match staged on Saturday 28th January 2023 at the Kasarani Annex
Bidco who came into the game on a back of a 3-0 loss to Mathare United were quick off the block when they took a third-minute lead through Alex Juma. The striker beat off Musamali easily before firing a low drive past the onrushing Joh Otieno in the Sharks goal.

Tyson was the dangerman for the hosts each time Sharks attacked and his chances went begging each time he tried to find a teammate. First, it was Keith Imbali who saw his shot being parried by the Bidco keeper after being teed by Otieno. Moses Shikanda was the other player who missed a glorious chance to put his side level in the second half after another brilliant work from Otieno.
Bidco had chances of their own each time Sharks left gaps while they went in search of an equalizer with the pick of the bunch being Ezekiel Okare’s miss just minutes to the hour mark when he found himself with only the keeper to beat after evading an offside trap but he decided to blaze his effort wide.
Sharks dominance was to be rewarded in extra time when Musamali was to step from the penalty spot to secure a point for the William Muluya side after a Bidco defender had handled the ball in a goal melee; a result that extended their unbeaten run to four games.
