Victor Omune scored four goals as AFC Leopards thrashed FC Talanta 6-0 to move to fifth in the FKF Premier League table.

Omune took only seven minutes to open the goalscoring proceedings with Cliff Nyakeya, who has been one of the key players in the club’s resurgence, doubling their lead after 20 minutes. As Leopards raced to a 2-0 lead at the break.

The duo was to combine again in the second half as Omune grabbed his brace in the 54th minute with Nyakeya replicating his strike partner three minutes later for his brace and Leopards’ fourth. While Nyakeya was replaced, Omune who remained on the pitch was to add another two goals late on in the 88th and 90th minute o send his team to fifth place in the league.

In another game of the day, Wazito FC stopped their two games winless streak with a vital 1-1 draw against Posta Rangers in a tie played at Kasarani Annex.

Rangers took an early lead through Sammy Odero but Collins Neto came off the bench to ensure the visitors kept their position just above the relegation zone.
