Enos Ochieng scored a late brace as Ulinzi Stars beat Nairobi City Stars 2-0 in an FKF Premier League game staged early on Saturday 25th February 2023 at the Kasarani Annex.
City Stars had arrived in the game on the back of a morale-boosting scoreless draw against Kakamega Homeboyz but their four-game winless streak was something of a bother with the club yet to hit the heights that saw them trouble teams in the past season.

While they held Ulinzi to a scoreless draw in the first half, they were against a side who are yet to lose a game away from home and while it took long for the soldiers to show their might, their breakthrough was to come in the 74th minute. Boniface Muchiri who has been one influential player for the soldiers this season was again involved as his dinked ball was tapped in from close range by Enos Ochieng.

The former Muhoroni Youth man was at hand again to double his and Ulinzi’s lead three minutes later after a well-orchestrated teamwork that saw him score from the tightest of angles to make the points safe for the visitors.
While the win propelled Ulinzi to the fifth on the log, the results see City Stars drop down the relegation fight with the Nicholas Muyoti, who has only won three games this season, currently placed 15th with 12 points; just a point off the relegation zone.
