The FKF Premier League game between Kenya Police and Sofapaka FC that was set for Wednesday 29th March 2023 has been postponed to a later date.

While the Federation has not given a reason why the game has been called off on the day, it is believed that Police’s contribution to the national team Harambee Stars where they have five players in team might have instigated the move.

Police has Patrick Matasi, Abud Omar, Duke Abuya, Alvin Mang’eni and Elvis Rupia in the Harambee Stars team and with the national team facing Iran a day before their clash against Sofapaka, the players, if they are to make the final traveling squad, wouldn’t be available for the league game.

Other Round 21 games will see Nzoia Sugar hosts Ulinzi Stars at their Sudi backyard in the first game of the round on Tuesday with Gor Mahia out to consolidate their lead at the top of the league when they host Vihiga Bullets at the MISC Kasarani.
