The FKF Premier League continued on Sunday 9th April 2023 for its 23 week with a lot of mouthwatering clashes.

While a lot was expected from some of the big games in the round, nothing much was to be recorded home as they shared the spoils with these games involving Ulinzi Stars and KCB FC who fought to a goalles draw , Police FC v AFC Leopards giving the same outing with the third game having no scorer happening at the Sudi Grounds where hosts Nzoia Sugar were held by Bidco United.

In the other matches, Abdalla Hassan scored the all important goal for Bandari FC as they extended Kakamega Homeboyz’ sorry outing at Bukhungu this season in a day that saw Vihiga Bullets end their 13 games winless streak with a 1-0 win over Mathare United. Joseph Oyugi came with all important goal for the hosts and while Mathare United had a chance of getting a point, Daniel Otieno, who has been one of the most in form players in the league this season, missed hialty kick.

In Nairobi, Tusker FC put pressure on leaders Gor Mahia with a 2-0 win over Sofapaka FC. The brewers goals were scored by Eric Otieno and John Machari with the result maintaining their four point gap againt leaders Gor who had beaten Kariobangi Sharks 2-0 earlier on; the Johnny McKinstry side getting their goals from Austin Odhiambo who bagged a brace.

The other match of the day saw a five goal thriller as Posta Rangers beat City Stars 3-2 to move 10th on the log with City Stars now living dangerously at the tail end of the standings.
