AFC Leopards lost a two-goal lead to record a 2-2 draw with KCB FC in an FKF Premier League game staged at the MISC Kasarani on Sunday.

In one of the only two games on the day, Leopardswhose last match was marred with controversy and came into the match after losing three points for their fans’ trouble, took the lead in the third minute through Peter Thiong’o following a corner floated in by Eugene Mukangula.

Minutes to the halftime break, Leopards were to double their lead from the penalty spot through Victor Omune after Jaffari OPwiti had been brought down by Maurice Ojwang but the tie wasn’t over as the bankers proved in the second half.

Cliff Oruko pulled a goal back after the referee failed to award Robert Mudenyu a foul when he thought he had been fouled by the player with Francis Kahiro ensuring a share of the spoils two minutes from time.

In another match of the day, Kakamega Homeboyz beat cross-town rivals Vihiga Bullets 2-0 at the Bukhungu Stadium with the hosts goals scored by Hillary Otieno and Brian Eshihanda in the second half.
