Police FC head coach Francis Baraza has blamed his attack in their FKF Premier League 1-1 draw against Ulinzi Stars on Friday.
The law enforcers had the lead through Elvis Rupia but Stephen Etyang ensured Ulinzi walked away with a point in an outing that didn’t please Baraza who thought they deserved more going by the chances they created in the game.

“I have to blame my team because we created so many chances but only utilized one. I’ll try to push the team because the league isn’t over yet to ensure that we finish the season strongly. Ulinzi had the belief that they could win the game after Etyang scored but I think in the last ten minutes they looked contented with a draw going by their time-wasting antics,” Baraza said after the game.
On his part, Ulinzi Stars assistant coach Vincent Otieno welcomed the draw saying it was a good way of ending their sorry run in the league and were already looking forward to their next clash against Gor Mahia.
“It was a tough and tactical game and I think Police had an upper hand in the first half. We contained them in the first 20 minutes and I think we had an improved performance in the second half. The point is a plus because we lost against Bidco and Tusker. We are up against Gor (Mahia) and we want to win that match,” Otieno stated.
The draw left Police at fourth place with 57 points with Ulinzi now 8th with 45 points.
