FKF Premier League side AFC Leopards have received a timely boost ahead of their round 12 clash with Sofapaka FC.
The club confirmed that captain Washington Munene is back in training after missing the last few games due to an injury but wasn’t clear if he will be available for their forthcoming tie as they gave an update on their available players.

“Captain Washington Munene has already resumed training after recovering from an ankle injury,” the club noted. “Also missing are Levis Opiyo, who will resume training next week after recovering from a knee injury and Nyakeya has recovered from a calf muscle injury but will be out recovering from malaria.”
The club however confirmed that the duo of Lewis Bandi and Abubakar Musha will be out of action for three months.
“Lewis Bandi and Abubakar Musha will be out for a period of 3 months as they recuperate from a surgical procedure they had earlier this week to repair their meniscus,” they added.
Leopards have only picked nine points from the 11 games played and are only two points above bottom-placed Sofapaka FC who have also had a difficult start to the season.
