Gor Mahia pilled pressure on leaders Posta Rangers with a convincing 2-0 win over Muhoroni Youth in a FKF Premier League game staged at the Raila Odinga Stadium on Sunday.

Fresh from scoring on his national team debut, Benson Omala put Gor into the lead just after 16 minutes after being put through by Austin Odhiambo in what was his eighth goal of the season while Chris Ochieng scored with the last kick of the match to hand the Jonny Mckinstry side all the points.

At Sudi Stadium, Nzoia Sugar FC struggles continued after going 3-1 down to visiting Police FC. Goals from David Odhiambo, David ‘Cheche’ Ochieng, and Tito Okelo ensured that Joseph Oyugi’s strike for the host was a mere consolation.

Newbies Murang’a Seal were another team to suffer a setback following their 2-1 loss to visiting KCB FC at the Sportpesa Arena.

Francis Kahiro gave the bankers a 12th-minute lead with Hanif Wesonga doubling the visitors lead just three minutes after the break. Batts Awita pulled a goal back for the hosts with a minute remaining on the clock but KCB stood their ground to pick the entire points.

At the Ulinzi Complex, Kakamega Homeboyz left it late to beat hosts Ulinzi Stars 1-0 in a late kickoff of the day; Oscar Paul popping up with the winner in the 90th minute.
