Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side KCB FC has confirmed the capture of Shadrack Simiyu and Lameck Luhangala.
Simiyu arrives from Compel FC where he was the top scorer in Zone B of the FKF Division One with nine goals with Luhangala joining to boost their defensive options that is currently dented following injuries to Nashon Alembi and Maurice Ojwang.

In welcoming Simiyu, the bankers noted: “Happy to announce that we have acquired the services of former Compel Football Club striker Shadrack Wamalwa Simiyu. The 21-year-old currently leads the scorers chat on the FKF Division One – Zone B league with 9 goals and impressed very much on the Cleo Malalah Super Cup where he finished as the tournament’s top scorer with 13 goals.”
On Luhangala, KCB added: “19-year-old Lameck Luhangala joins us from The Scorpions Musingu. The young center back has put pen to paper for a two year deal.”
The bankers have not had the season they had hoped for as they are currently placed seventh with 27 points after 17 games; ten points behind leaders Gor Mahia.
Simiyu and Luhangala will be hoping that they can hit the ground running for the Bernard Mwalala side starting with their weekend tie against Ulinzi Stars.
