Coaches from CAF A coaching course underwent a sports science module – as part of their course work- led by Dominic Oduor, a Human Anatomy Lecturer from Uzima University with the session taking place at the Kenya Institute of Special Education.
Sports science plays a significant role in the modernization of the sport and the enhancement of player and team performance hence the need to educate coaches in it.
According to the Federation, It’s an approach that combines physiological, psychological, and tactical elements to optimize player development, prevent injuries, and enhance overall team performance.
CAF A is set to run for 6 months and will be under the tutelage of coaches Francis Kimanzi and Salim Ali.
