FKF Premier League side Tusker FC emerged 4-0 winners over National Super League side Vihiga Bullets in a friendly game staged at the Ruaraka Grounds on Thursday morning.

According to the club on their portal, their goals were scored by Eric Otieno, John Njuguna, Collins Otieno, and Eric Kapaito with head coach Robert Matano having used two different sets of teams in either half.

Otieno gave the brewers a seventh-minute lead from the rebound after his initial penalty was saved by the Vihiga keeper with Njuguna doubling their lead a minute after the quarter-hour mark. Otieno added the third in the 68th minute with a ferocious shot from the edge of the box with Kapaito closing the scoring proceedings nine minutes from time.

Tusker were using the game as part of their preparations ahead of their Sunday clash at Ukunda Grounds against Bumbani Stars in the second round of the Mozzart Bet Cup.

The team is set to leave Nairobi on Friday morning for Ukunda and will be returning to league action away to Muhoroni next week before clashes against AFC Leopards, Kariobangi Sharks, FC Talanta and Ulinzi Stars.
