Gor Mahia have been eliminated from the MozzartBet Cup following a 5-4 loss to Denmark FC Maganyakulo in post-match penalties after a scoreless draw in regular time.
Gor had adequately prepared for the game with coach Jonny McKinstry changing their training base in preparation for the Ukunda Showgrounds which he had claimed would play to the advantage of their opponents.

The Irishman rested a chunk of his first-team players where goalkeeper Kevin Omondi was among the people given a rest but the fifth-tier side gave a spirited fight to force the game into penalties which they won.
Earlier on the same ground, Tusker FC emerged 2-1 winners over Bumbani Stars to sail through to last 16 of the competition.
A goal apiece from Daniel Sakari and Eric Zakayo ensured that Saidi Zamani strike from the penalty spot was just a mere consolation.
In another game of the day, AFC Leopards’ new signing Arthur Gitengo bagged a hattrick as his side emerged 3-0 winners over PAC University in a clash staged at the Police Sacco Stadium.
Gitengo gave Leopards a 37th-minute lead after being put through by Kayci Odhiambo with the Rwandese scoring a brace in the second half to complete his hat trick.
