The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) began a three-day club licensing workshop on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, for their Men’s and Women’s Premier League and National Super League clubs.

The exercise which is in conjunction with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) saw two representatives from each FKF Premier League and FKF National Super League club attend today’s session.

According to FKF, the workshop will be followed by sessions for 24 representatives from FKF Women Premier League clubs and 32 representatives from FKF Women National Super League clubs on April 4, 2024.

Under the guidance of CAF CLOP Instructor Emmanuel Dasoberi, CAF CLOP Officer Hamza Sorouri, and CAF CLOP Expert Miguel Revera, the primary focus of the exercise will be on the CAF Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP), featuring comprehensive training sessions for club representatives on platform usage.

The participants will also receive detailed presentations on the CAF Club Licensing regulatory framework (edition 2022) for both men’s and women’s categories, including explanations of the mandatory criteria for domestic and continental competitions.
