AFC Leopards have been dumped out of the Mozzartbet Cup after a 0-1 loss to Police FC in the semifinals of the competition.

The game had to be played for 30 minutes on Monday 27th May at the Police Sacco Stadium after it was earlier cut short the previous day due to crowd trouble at the same venue.

Police had the lead on Sunday courtesy of a Tito Okello early strike but the match was cut short after an object was thrown at the second assistant referee on the hour mark; the officials forced to abandon the game midway for safety reasons.

Earlier on, Leopards chairman Dan Shikanda had threatened not to allow his side to play the next 30 minutes today but he seemed to have reversed that stance when his side showed up for the game this time without fans.

In the game, midfielder Kenneth Muguna was named the man of the match and the win will now see Police take on KCB in the finals after the Bernard Mwalala side beat Kariobangi Sharks 4-2 in post-match penalties, after a 1-1 draw in regular time, to book a final spot.
