The FKF Premier League continued on Saturday with the clash between Shabana FC and AFC Leopards at the Raila Odinga Stadium being the pick of the bunch.

Shabana, who are fighting relegation, boosted their survival hopes by registering a 4-3 win over Leopards in a match that saw them lose a lead twice. Samuel Maiko gave Shabana an 18th-minute lead and while they were cruising, Leopards hit back with two quickfire goals in a span of three minutes; Arthu Gitego restoring parity before Victor Omune gave them the lead.

Sensing defeat, coach Pamzo Omolo pulled a first-half chance where Prince Ayeko was withdrawn for Alvin Chicha with the on-loan Gor Mahia defender restoring parity for the hosts a minute to half time.

Samuel Maiko then gave Shabana the lead ten minutes after resumption but Leopards drew levelled courtesy of an own goal three minutes later. Shabana wasn’t done yet and was to take the lead 12 minutes from time through Bryan Michira with his goal proving to be the winner.

In another game played at the Police Sacco Stadium, Nairobi City Stars played to a 1-1 draw with Kakamega Homeboyz. Ambrose Sifuna gave Homeboyz in the 50th minute but Dennis Wanjala ensured that CityS tars walked home with a point with the leveller 15 minutes from time.

In other results, KCB and Posta Rangers played to a 0-0 draw while Talanta secured a 1-0 victory against Muhoroni Youth to dim the latter’s hopes of staying afloat.
