Harambee Stars midfielder Kenneth Muguna is set to leave Police FC when his contract expires at the end of this month.
Muguna penned a one year deal with the law enforcers in July 2023 after a stint with Azam FC and will be a free agent next month. While he has been a consistent figure in the club’s midfield this season, talks about renewing his deal hasn’t taken place.

When Pepeta reached out to ask the player about his next move, Muguna was coy but confirmed that he would be ready to listen to offers from next month.
“My deal with Police will be ending in a few days and it now means that I will be a free agent as of next month. I can’t talk about my next destination now because I am still at Police and my concentration now is to finish the season strongly with them,” Muguna said.
Police are currently placed third in the FKF Premier League table and have dates against Bandari and Kariobangi Sharks before finishing the season against KCB FC in the Mozzartbet Cup Finals for a chance to represent the country in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.
Muguna has previously featured for giants Gor Mahia and the now-defunct Western Stima. In his sojourn outside the country, apart from Azam FC, the midfielder represented FK Tirana in Albania.
Muguna has been a consistent figure in the national under the current head coach Engin Firat and is expected to be included in the squad that is set to feature in the forthcoming COSAFA Championship where Harambee Stars will be participating as an invited team.
