AFC Leopards has handed striker Ronald Sichenje a new two-year deal at the den the club has announced.
Sichenje joined the club in 2022 but has barely cemented a starting place but with Arthur Gitego set to leave the club, the club has moved with speed to tie the player to a new deal.
“AFC Leopards is delighted to announce that utility player Ronald Sichenje Bebeto has extended his contract for 2 years,” Leopards said in a statement.

“Sichenje joined AFC Leopards in 2022 but couldn’t feature in his first season as the club was serving a transfer ban. He was then loaned to Mathare United for a 6-month loan. Under Thomas Trucha, Sichenje has featured both as a winger and a left full back. He played 18 matches featuring for 443 minutes.”
On his part, the player said: “I am grateful to be part of the club and I always feel at home that’s why I renewed my contract, and I am happy I made that decision. My target is to have more minutes of playing time and be the best version of myself. I am also looking forward to scoring goals and assists.”
“The first two years at AFC Leopards have been impeccable. However, in every situation, we always have ups and downs. I didn’t feature for the club in my first season because of a registration hitch, but I was cleared in the second season .” Ronald Sichenje on his experience at AFC Leopards in the past two years.
Sichenje previously featured for Aspire Academy and the famous Kakamega High School and was part of the team when they resumed pre-season training today.
