Goalkeeper Eliud Emase has called on suitors after FKF Premier League newbies Mara Sugar FC failed to renew his deal.
The experienced keeper who had a stint with AFC Leopards previously revealed to Pepeta that he was ready for a new challenge with his preference being in the Kenyan top flight or remaining in the National Super League.

“I am currently a free agent after I was dropped last month by Mara (Sugar FC),” Emase said. “My preference would be to return to the FKF Premier League but staying in the National Super League wouldn’t be a bad move too.”
Emase joined Mara in 2023 after a short stint with Kakamega Homeboyz and managed to keep seven clean sheets in the 15 games he played for the side as they made history by getting promoted to the top flight for the first time in their history.
Apart from Homeboyz and AFC Leopards, the keeper has previously been in the books of West Kenya Sugar, Thika United and Posta Rangers.
Mara is expected to bolster their squad with experienced players for the top flight but their coach Benedict Wanjala promised that he will keep a chunk of the players that helped him with promotion.
