FKF Premier League side Tusker FC beat National Super League side Kibera Black Stars 3-0 in a friendly game staged at Ruaraka Complex on Wednesday.
New signing Boban Zirintusa bagged a brace in the game with Joseph Mwangi scoring the other goal as Tusker made good use of the break they’ll have as the league takes a break to pave the way for the International break.

Most of the players who featured in the game were those who didn’t feature for the club in their league opener against Sofapaka where they emerged as 1-0 winners in a clash staged at the Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos last Saturday.
According to Tusker, the friendly also featured two of their Youth Team players, defender George Odhiambo and midfielder Brian Kamau.
After the three-week break, Tusker will be returning to league action against Kariobangi Sharks before matches against Kakamega Homeboyz, Police FC and FC Talanta.
On their part, Kibera will be kicking off their season in the second tier against Luanda Villa on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 before games against Darajani Gogo, Mulembe United, APS Bomet and Modern Coast Rangers respectively.
