The highly anticipated FKF Division One 2024/25 Season has been scheduled to kick off on the weekend of 28th-29th September 2024.

Divided into Two Zones, A and B, the new season promises to bring thrilling football action as newly promoted sides and seasoned teams prepare to battle for supremacy.

In Zone A, the spotlight will be on the newly promoted sides as they make their Division 1 debuts. Marafiki FC will be hosting Kibra United at Kinunga Stadium, looking to mark their arrival in the league with a strong start. Meanwhile, Strathmore University will be away to Zetech Titans in what promises to be a fiercely contested “University Derby.”

Other exciting fixtures in Zone A match week 1 include Dandora Youth taking on Equity at Dandora Stadium, and Kabati Youth hosting Kenya Navy at Mukerenju Primary School. Additionally, Dynamo will face off against Kajiado at Mkapa Stadium in Kitui, while Spitfire hosts Young Bulls at Sina Makosa in Nairobi. Kibera Soccer will also be in action, playing against Bumbani at NCC Dagoretti G.

In Zone B, newly promoted Soy United are set to make their debut, though their opponents for the first match week remain uncertain due to MOFA FC’s promotion to the National Super League after buying a slot. This development leaves Soy United with a question mark over their first fixture, adding an element of suspense to the start of the season.

Match day 1 matches in Zone B include Kiminini Combined hosting Compel at Ndura Complex in Kitale, and Bungoma Superstars facing Gucha Stars at Bungoma High School. Green Commandos will take on Transfoc at Kakamega School, while GFE 105 will host Nakuru Bucks at Eldoret Showground. Sigalagala will welcome Hoha, the new entrants, at Sigalagala Poly, and Zoo will clash with St. Joseph Youth at Kericho Stadium. Lastly, Hillside will face off against Vegpro at Nakwamikui Primary.
