Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia has accused referee Israel Mpaima of favouring AFC Leopards in their Saturday loss.
Leopards secured a 1-0 victory on Saturday, with new signing Sydney Lokale netting the winner a few minutes after coming off the bench, marking the first time Bidco had lost to Leopards in more than three years.

Speaking to Azam TV after the match, an agitated Akhulia claimed that the referee’s decisions were biased in favor of their opponents, saying it felt like the match outcome had been pre-determined.
“It was as if he had a predetermined mind,” said Akhulia. “Like AFC Leopards had to win. The fouls he gave were bogus, even a simple body charge he was booking our players.”
The defeat ended Bidco’s impressive unbeaten run against Ingwe, during which they had recorded five wins and two draws in their last seven encounters. Despite the loss, Akhulia remains defiant, believing it won’t be long before his team gets back to dominating Leopards.
Lokale’s winning strike handed AFC Leopards a much-needed victory having lost the last league match against Posta Rangers 1-0. The former Kariobangi Sharks forward has now scored two goals for Leopards all coming as a substitute.
