The FKF Premier League will return this weekend after the FIFA international break, with an exciting lineup of fixtures across different venues.

Friday, 18th October

Mathare United, still searching for their first win since returning to the top tier, will kick off the weekend’s action. They host Bidco United at Dandora Stadium at 3:00 PM. The Slum Boys will be desperate to turn their fortunes around in front of their home crowd having failed to record any wins under coach John Kamau.

Saturday, 19th October

Newcomers Mara Sugar, who have had a strong start at home, will welcome Shabana FC at Awendo Stadium at 3:00 PM. Mara Sugar will be keen to keep their impressive home run intact, while Shabana seeks to bounce back from a slow start.

Nairobi City Stars, struggling to gain momentum this season, will also be chasing their first league win when they face Sofapaka at Kenyatta Stadium at 1:00 PM. Sofapaka, sitting at the bottom of the table, will equally be desperate for points in what promises to be a high-stakes encounter.

Later in the day at Kenyatta Stadium, Posta Rangers will host Gor Mahia at 4:00 PM. Gor Mahia, coming off their CAF Champions League campaign, won their last league game against Mathare United before the break and will be looking to build on that momentum.

Bandari FC, unbeaten in the league with two wins and one draw, will be looking to maintain their strong form when they welcome Murang’a Seal to Mombasa Sports Club at 2:00 Murang’a Seal will be seeking to bounce back after losing their last league match before the break

Top-of-the-table KCB FC will aim to extend their lead when they host Kakamega Homeboyz at St. Sebastian Park at 3:00 PM. KCB has won three matches and drawn one so far, while Kakamega Homeboyz are yet to register a win this season.

Sunday, 20th October

Tusker FC will take on Talanta at Kenyatta Stadium at 1:00 PM. Both sides have had mixed results, winning one game and drawing another. A win for either side could push them up the table.

Later in the day, Kariobangi Sharks, unbeaten in their opening four matches, will face AFC Leopards at Kenyatta Stadium from 4:00 PM. Kariobangi Sharks sit second on the log with three wins and a draw, while AFC Leopards, with three wins and one loss, are just behind them in third place. This top-tier clash is set to be a thrilling contest.

In another Sunday fixture, Ulinzi Stars, who are yet to win a game this season, will welcome Kenya Police FC to Kinoru Stadium at 4:00 PM. Ulinzi Stars have lost two matches and drawn one, while Kenya Police will be playing their second match of the season after returning from their CAF Confederations Cup campaign. They were held to a draw by Tusker in their first league game.
