The FKF Premier League witnessed unfortunate injuries over the weekend, with key players from different teams set to miss significant time due to fractures.
Ulinzi Stars midfielder Joseph Ochieng suffered a severe injury during their match against Police FC. Ochieng sustained a fracture to the distal third of his left fibula, which will keep him sidelined for 6-8 weeks. The injury is a blow to Ulinzi Stars, as Ochieng has been a pivotal part of their midfield setup this season.

Mara Sugar’s winger Cheruiyot Dennis was also stretchered off in their clash against Shabana FC after suffering a leg fracture in the first half of the match, which ended in a 1-0 victory for Shabana. Kariobangi Sharks’ midfielder Biron Otieno also joined the weekend casualties after fracturing his arm during their 1-1 draw against AFC Leopards.
