Ten-man Kenya Police FC came from a goal down to hold Sofapaka to a 1-1 draw in a dramatic FKF Premier League game staged at the Dandora Stadium on Wednesday.
Having beaten Kakamega Homeboyz in their last game, Sofapaka came with a morale to build on that momentum and the confidence paid dividends when Joseph Kuloba gave them the lead following an error from goalkeeper Patrick Matasi.

Despite pressure from the Police to grab an equalizer, an effort that saw them hit the post, the Robert Matano side held on to their lead into the halftime break.
Just as they finished the first half, Police continued to pile pressure on their hosts and restored parity just six minutes after resumption through David Okoth. Hell, then broke loose after the equalizer with Abud Omar was sent off after a confrontation with Sofapaka’s Baron Ochieng.
Sofapaka then went on a rampage while banking on their one-man advantage with Matasi being forced to some brilliant saves to keep his side in the game. Nick Mabuka thought he had won it for Sofapaka when he hit the net but his goal was chopped off for an offside much to the amusement of the Sofapaka bench.
