Kenya Police FC interim head coach Beldine Odemba believes the team was unlucky in their Tuesday FKF Premier League duel, which ended in a 1-1 draw against KCB FC.
Odemba who was leading the team for the second time as the search for a permanent manager continues thinks a win could have kickstarted their resurgence but all is not lost as they head into round 11 of action.

“We had come to collect all the three points because we wanted to rise higher the table,” Odemba said in her post-match interview. “A win would have kickstarted our comeback but for us now is to re-strategize again and ensure that we pick a win in our coming game.”
Talking about the game, the tactician believes they were unlucky not to pick up all the points, especially in the second half, when she felt they were the better team.
“We had a slow start to the game but I believe we picked up as the game went on. We conceded early, which always forces you as a team to think faster and change a few things. I think we added speed later in the game and we deserved another goal but we were just unlucky,” she concluded.
While attention for the tactician now shifts to the National Women’s team, Harambee Starlets, who have left for Morocco for two friendly games, there is no rest for Police who have a date against AFC Leopards in the coming weekend.
