Kariobangi Sharks went down to Bandari as Posta Rangers came from a goal down to beat Bidco United in the FKF Premier Leagues game staged on Wednesday afternoon.
Sharks who have been struggling with injuries found the going tough when they were to concede an own goal when captain Ian Karani turned the ball into his net a minute after the half-hour mark before Beja Nyamawi doubled the hosts’ lead just nine minutes into the second half.

Sharks who had drawn their last three games before the tie had no response for the better part of the game with the hosts having the luxury of bringing on youngster William Gitama who had just completed his KCSE exams last week.
It was another day for Beja who has now scored in all the games Bandari has played at the Ukunda Showground; a place he knows well having been brought up in the neighbourhood.
With the results, Bandari are just five points below leaders KCB FC and are third on the log with Sharks maintaining their fifth position on 14 points however their form will be a worry for them considering they have ties against Sofapaka, Posta Rangers, City Stars, Mara Sugar FC and Gor Mahia in their next five fixtures.
In another game of the day, Posta Rangers came from a goal down to beat Bidco United 3-1 in a clash staged at the Sportpesa Arena.
Bidco were the first to get off the blocks when Clinton Asiago gave them a fifth-minute lead after being assisted by Munala Abuko but Rangers were never going to be allowed to be beaten easily and restored parity on the half-hour mark through Lewis Shivachi for a 1-1 draw at half time.
Shivachi was a man on a mission and gave Rangers the lead four minutes after resumption before Shami Kibwana ensured the mailmen picked their second win of the season with a goal 15 minutes from time.
