Tusker FC striker Ryan Ogam has expressed his delight after being awarded Player of the Month for October and November for the club.
Ogam has netted seven goals in just six matches, making him the current joint top scorer in the FKF Premier League with the accolade coming after votes from teammates, coaches, and staff members, with Ogam emerging victorious over fellow finalists Shaphan Siwa, Charles Momanyi, and George Kaddu.

Speaking during the award ceremony held on Friday at the Utalii Hotel, Ogam said;” I am thrilled to receive this award—it means a great deal to me. I owe this achievement to my teammates, as I couldn’t have reached this point without their support. The coaches have also been instrumental in my progress. This recognition motivates me to continue working hard and scoring more goals.”
Christine Kariuki, Marketing Manager at Tusker, said: “It’s truly a pleasure to be part of this ceremony. There’s nothing more fulfilling than coming together to celebrate the progress we’ve made, and to honor the players, the technical staff, and the management for their hard work and dedication.”
“As KBL, we remain fully committed to supporting the team in every way possible—not just in recognizing outstanding players, but in ensuring that every member of this squad stays motivated and inspired to reach their full potential.”
Tusker FC CEO Sam Nzau added: “With hard work, consistency, and faith in God, there’s nothing we can’t achieve. I want to congratulate Ryan for his well-deserved recognition. His achievements are the result of his dedication, both on and off the pitch, where his discipline has been exemplary.”
“I would also like to express our gratitude to our sponsors. Without their support, much of this would not be possible. They’ve played a crucial role in providing the resources we need to succeed.”
Ogam who joined the club in the off-season from the now-defunct Rainbow FC will be hoping to continue with his goalscoring form when they travel to Murang’a Seal on Sunday.
