The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced the registration period for the fifth FIFA Football Agent Examination, scheduled to take place on May 21, 2025.

This is the sole exam for 2025, presenting a unique opportunity for aspiring football agents to earn certification and join the ranks of FIFA-accredited professionals.

Application Process

The application window opens on January 13, 2025, and closes on February 28, 2025. Prospective candidates can submit their applications via the FIFA Agent Platform. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in Article 5 of the FIFA Football Agent Regulations.

Once applications are approved, candidates will receive invitations to sit for the examination. A detailed manual is available on the FIFA Agent Platform to assist with account setup and the application process.

Examination Format and Requirements

The exam will consist of 20 multiple-choice questions designed to assess candidates’ understanding of FIFA Regulations and the football transfer system. To pass, candidates need to achieve a minimum score of 75%. Study materials and relevant regulations will be accessible through the FIFA Agent Platform, ensuring candidates are well-prepared.

Fees and Licensing

Candidates must pay an administrative fee for the exam, with specific details to be communicated later. Those who pass the exam are required to pay a licensing fee of USD 600 within 90 days to activate their first licensing period. An annual renewal fee of USD 300 is also required to maintain the license. Failure to pay the initial licensing fee within the stipulated time will render the application void.

Licensed agents must fulfil annual Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements to retain their certification.

Promoting Integrity in Football

The regulation of football agency services is critical to improving the football transfer system. Certified agents play a vital role in ensuring high-quality services while safeguarding vulnerable players who may lack knowledge of the complex transfer processes.

Aspiring agents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to contribute to the growth and betterment of the sport.
