In recent weeks, fans have asked why the advertisement boards in FKF Premier League games have remained hollow.
It has always been a norm to see brands from the league body, the Federation, sponsors and the teams facing each other to have their brands across the pitch side to help with the visibility; this has always been aimed at advertising the league.

Since the previous football regime, under Nick Mwendwa left, the banners have been reduced and Pepeta has since learnt that the new office has made it upon themselves to have a new arrangement in branding match day venues.
In the previous era, Pepeta has learnt that the total cost of branding all the grounds in a weekend amounted to a total of sh 700k with close to sh 500k having been set for transportation alone something the new regime feels can’t be sustained.
The Federation and official league broadcaster Azam have had a meeting on the same and are working on finding a long-term solution that will be helpful to the league and the participating teams without spending much in providing match day banners on the required venues.
