SS Assad and Dimba Patriots have been docked points after forfeiting games in the National Super League.

Assad and Dimba failed to show up against MOFA and Samwest Balckboots respectively in round 17 of action and the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) League and Competitions Committee has gone ahead to impose sanctions on the teams.

In a communication, FKF said, “The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Leagues and Competitions Committee has ruled on the cases of SS Assad FC and Dimba Patriots FC, following their failure to honour FKF National Super League Round 17 fixtures played last weekend.

“SS Assad FC has been docked 3 points and 2 goals for failing to honor their away match against MOFA FC, which was scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2025.

“Dimba Patriots FC, on the other hand, faced a deduction of 6 points and 4 goals after failing to honor their home fixture against Samwest Blackboots FC, initially set for Sunday, January 26, 2025.”

With the deduction of points, Assad falls to the bottom of the table with nine points with Patriots now second from bottom on 11 points.
