The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has officially received the final report from the FKF Transition Ad Hoc Committee, marking the conclusion of the committee’s mandate.
Chaired by FKF Vice President McDonald Mariga, the seven-member committee was formed by the National Executive Council (NEC) on 21st December 2024 to oversee a smooth transition for the federation. Over the past weeks, the committee conducted a comprehensive review of FKF’s governance structures, financial management, human resources, and legal framework, identifying key areas for reform.

The report, presented to FKF President Hussein Mohammed on 31st January 2025, provides a roadmap to strengthen institutional integrity, enhance operational continuity, and prepare the federation’s leadership for long-term success. It will now be submitted to NEC for validation before the implementation of its recommendations.
“The FKF Transition Ad Hoc Committee has played a crucial role in identifying areas that require improvement to ensure efficiency and good governance. We appreciate their efforts and will now present the report to NEC for validation before moving towards implementation,” Mohammed said.
The federation remains committed to upholding transparency, accountability, and professionalism as it enters this new phase of growth.
