The FKF Premier League Continued for its Round 21 over the weekend where Kenya Police FC moved clear at the top of the table
Gor Mahia and Tusker was the game of the week but it failed to live up to the hype with FC Talanta shocking Bandari in Mbaraki. Here are the major talking points of the round.
Gor Mahia and Tusker battle to a barren draw
Gor Mahia and Tusker FC fought to a goalless draw on Sunday at the Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos in a game that many had believed would produce goals.

It was the second successive draw for Tusker after being held to the same results last week against Kenya Police FC. Gor Mahia will be worried about the results in what was the second game under the tutelage of new manager Sinisa Mihic.
Bajaber with a debut goal as Police goes top
Mohamed Bajaber scored on his Police FC to help them to a 2-0 win over Bidco United; a result that took them top of the league standings.
Police are now on 41 points, two above Tusker FC who drew against Gor Mahia. The result will be a boost not only for Bajaber, who has been the talk of the town since ditching City Stars for the law enforcers despite him being linked with Tusker FC and Gor Mahia.
Things don’t get easier for the Police either in the coming days as they have to face Mathare United Posta Rangers, City Stars, Ulinzi Stars and KCB FC.
Talanta shocks Bandari in Mbaraki
Not many gave FC Talanta a chance in their weekend game away to Bandari but the Jackline Juma side did themselves a huge favour by coming out as 3-2 winners.
The win pulled them out of the relegation zone where they currently sit at position 15 with 21 points, just two points off the relegation zone and will need to build on the momentum in the second half of the campaign if they are to stay afloat for another season.
Kakamega hit City Stars for Five
Nairobi City Stars problems continued over the weekend after conceding five goals against Kakamega Homeboyz who had keeper Patrick Matasi on the bench.

Homeboyz are now nine points off the top but the loss means City Stars remains rooted at the bottom of the table on 18 points and will be looking for a miracle to stay afloat as there are reports that the players are struggling financially and lack the motivation to over their fortunes as the league heads to the serious end of the business.
Sofapaka resurgence continues
Sofapaka beat KCB FC 2-0 to continue their resurgence. There had been fears that the team would struggle after the departure of coach Robert Matano but that hasn’t been the case as their latest win propels them to ninth on the table and comes just a week after holding Bandari away from home.
