FKF Premier League side have confirmed the arrival of top marksman John Mark Makwatta from Tanzania side Coastal Union.

Makwatta move to Tanzania midway through last year but didn’t make the impact that had been expected from him after helping Kariobangi Sharks in the second half of the season.

While Bandari didn’t confirm the duration of his contract, his arrival will be a boost for the Dockers who have struggled in recent games.

“Striker John Mark Makwatta who has an eye for goal joins us after featuring in different leagues where he was tasked with finding goals for AFC Leopards, Ulinzi Stars, and Kariobangi Sharks with his last station being with neighbours Tanzania side Coastal Union.

“A player with the national team experience is ready to add punch to our attack,” Bandari said of Makwatta.

Apart from Makwatta, Bandari also announced the arrival of defender Dennis Nganga who joins after terminating his deal with Zambi’’s Zanaco FC. The player’s experience in Kenya saw him feature for Wazito FC, KCB FC and Gor Mahia.

Others who have been unveiled by the Coastal club include midfielder Clifford Ouma from Nairobi City Stars and striker Ali Halafu from FKF Division One side Congo Boys FC.
