FKF National Super League side, Luanda Villa, has confirmed the signing of three talented players from Maseno University as they look to bolster their squad during the mid-season transfer window.
Among the recruits is teenage midfielder Moses Mwangi, who has already gained experience in the National Super League (NSL). Mwangi previously featured for Kajiado FC during their time in the NSL. A central defensive midfielder, Mwangi is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Technology with IT at Maseno University. His strong presence in the middle of the park is expected to add depth to Luanda Villa’s midfield.

Joining him from Maseno University is 22-year-old versatile defender Calvary Benedict. A player capable of covering various defensive positions, Calvary brings valuable versatility to Luanda Villa’s backline. He is also pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physics with IT at Maseno University. Calvary currently skippers the Maseno University Football team, Siringisi.
The third signing from Maseno University is 21-year-old Phelix Killion, a versatile player with experience from Ramba Kanyamedha FC. Killion, who is currently undertaking a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance at Maseno University, brings additional options for Luanda Villa in both defence and midfield.
The three players are part of the Maseno University squad that over the weekend qualified for the Kenya University Sports Association (KUSA) National Games after finishing as runners-up in the KUSA Western Conference.
Luanda Villa has also made additional signings, including Sammy Ian Opole from Simba Youth Academy, who impressed in their 2-1 win over Muhoroni Youth, being named the player of the match. Opole is a student at Sigalagala Polytechnic.
The club has further strengthened its defence with the signings of Samuel Ochieng’ from Division 2 side Lucky Summer and Geoffrey Ouma, a former National Super League player with the now-defunct Rainbow FC. Additionally, 19-year-old goalkeeper Idd Mubarak, formerly with Mombasa Stars, joins the squad to provide competition between the posts.
