A chunk of FKF Premier League teams made it to Round 16 of the MozzartbetCup following wins over the weekend.
Kenya Police, Shabana, Gor Mahia, Bidco United, Ulinzi Stars, Kakamega Homeboyz, Murang’a Seal, Bandari, KCB and Kariobangi Sharks are some of the teams that will be featuring in Round 16 of the competition.

Defending Champions Police beat National Super League side MOFA 1-0 on Saturday to book their place in the next round; the all-important goal was scored by Clinton Kinanga who was introduced at the start of the second half.
Tusker FC were the major casualties of the round after being eliminated by Nairobi United 5-4 in post-match penalties after both teams fought to a 1-1 draw in regular time.
The game between AFC Leopards and fellow league rivals Mara Sugar FC was halted seven minutes from time after fans stormed the pitch. Their bone of contention had arisen after the referee rescinded a penalty decision with the League and Competitions Committee set to rule on the fate of the game in the next days.
Only five non-FKF Premier League teams made it to Round 16 with the lot including Nairobi United, Compel FC. Kibera Soccer, Kapenguria United and Denmark FC.
