Harambee Stars’ provisional squad to take on Gabon and Gambia later this month in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers has been named.
A total of 25 players called by Benni McCarthy are local-based players as he looks to build a team for CHAN 2025 where Kenya will be co-hosts together with Tanzania and Uganda.

All the local-based players are from FKF Premier League teams with Gor Mahia having the highest number (seven) in the latest team; Ronney Onyango is included in this bracket despite being currently in Norway where he is on trials with Sogndal Football.
Other teams with the highest number of players in the team are Kenya Police FC who have produced four players the same number as Tusker FC. AFC Leopards has contributed two players same as KCB FC with Kariobangi Sharks, Ulinzi Stars, Kakamega Homeboyz and Sofapaka FC producing one player each.
