Gor Mahia are in the final of the Mozzartbet Cup following their 5-3 win in post match penalties against Muranga’sa Seal after a 2-2 draw in regular time in a game staged at Dandora Stadium on Sunday 25th May, 2025.
Just like in the previous week where Seal proved to be hard nut to crack in their league meeting, the Murang’a based side took the lead just after the sixth minute through Michael Owino. Gor however restored parity in the second half through Bryson Wangai before Chris Alpha gave them the lead with a sumptuous long-range strike.

While Gor were headed for a win in regular time, Wilson Kamau had other ideas as he equalized for Seal to force the match into penalties.
In the shootout, Gor scored all their kicks through Austin Odhiambo, Philemon Otieno, Gad Mathews, Enock Morrison and Onyango himself. Seal missed their kick through Humphrey Obina but John Kiplangat, Michael Owen and Dennis Munyove were all on target.
Gor will now face the winner between Mara Sugar and Nairobi United in the finals with the Zedekiah Otieno side hoping they can win the Cup title for a chance to represent Kenya in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.
