FKF Premier League side Tusker FC has confirmed the departure of nine players as they prepare for the 2025/26 season.
The club which has roped in one player and promoted two from their youth ranks are creating space for new entrants expected to join them as they seek to wrestle the league title from Kenya Police FC.

In a communication, the club confirmed that John Byamukama, James Kibande, Luke Namanda, David Odoyo, Boban Zirintusa, Deogratious Ojok, Mike Oduor and Lawrence Luvanda will all leave the club once their contracts expire at the end of the month.
Also leaving is defender Yusuf Mainge who will rejoin his parent club Police having been at the club on a season long loan deal.
“We thank each of them for their service, commitment, and contributions during their time at Ruaraka. Their efforts have been integral to the team, both on and off the pitch, and they leave with our sincere gratitude,” the club’s Chief Executive Officer Sam Nzau. “As they embark on the next chapter of their professional journeys, we wish them the very best in their future endeavors.”
The club has already signed midfielder Vincent Otieno from relegated Nairobi City Stars and promoted the duo of David Polepole and George Odhiambo from the youth team.
