KCB FC head coach Robert Matano has blamed keeper Bonphas Munyasa in their Sportpesa league Round Two games against Mathare United.
KCB had opened the season with a win against Tusker and were the favourites against Mathare but a Ellie Asieche strike at the stroke of half time ensured that they walked home empty handed on Friday evening.

Speaking to the media after the 0-1 loss, Matano believes Munyasa should have done better owing to his height and experience in the game; the coach pinning the loss on him.
“We gave away a goal today (on Friday) and failed to utilize our chances in the game. Our goalkeeper made a big mistake today. He is an experienced keeper and going by his height too, he shouldn’t have conceded such a goal.
“There was no one near him and there was no pressure around him so he should have held the ball instead of punching so the mistake is his. I can’t blame anyone for that goal, it was his mistake,” Matano said.

The tactician however believes the loss will be their last in the league this season as they begin to strategize ahead of their next games.
“We now have to strategize ahead of our next game on Tuesday. I think this might have been our last loss this season because we wont allow to lose again in the manner we have lost today,” he added.
KCB will be taking on Kariobangi Sharks on Tuesday; an opponent that is yet to score a league goal this season having played two games.
