Kariobangi Sharks head coach William Muluya is worried about his attack after failing to score for the third consecutive game in the Sportpesa League.

Sharks were defeated 0-1 by KCB FC in the first game of Round Three and according to Muluya they need to sharpen their attack heading into the next game.

“We created chances but just couldn’t convert when it mattered. Moving forward, we need to sharpen our attacking end, stay composed under pressure, and tighten up defensively. I believe in this squad we’ll learn from today and push harder in the upcoming matches,” Muluya said in his post match presser.

In the game staged at the Kasarani Annex, the decisive moment came in the 35th minute when a cross from December Kisakah found Humphrey Mieno, who laid it off for Richard Omondi to score.

After conceding, the momentum shifted toward Sharks, who dominated possession and carved out several openings. Patila Omoto’s close-range free kick and two efforts by Razel Omondi failed to find the net.

In the second half, Sharks pushed hard for an equaliser, but KCB’s defensive shape held them at bay with the bankers picking their second win of the season following their opening day win against Tusker FC.
