Tusker FC head coach Charles Okere is already looking forward to their next match against Shabana FC after picking his first point of the season.

Having lost his first two games in the Sportpesa League, Okere believes there are no small or big teams in the league and will be ready for the Peter Okidi visits them at Nyayo Stadium this weekend.

“These are the matches I am looking forward to. I know we started bluntly, but there is no small or big team in the Premier League. We will be looking forward to playing them. It will be a mental test for my boys and Shabana too,” Okere said after their game against Mathare United.

The brewers have had a poor start to the season, losing 2-0 to KCB in the opening match and falling 2-1 to Posta Rangers before the stalemate with Mathare on Wednesday a game where he praised his boys for sticking to his tactical plan.

“Everything has gone to plan. I want to thank the players for their tactical discipline. We have managed a clean sheet, and it shows some improvement,” he added.

The game against Shabana has pencilled for Sunday 5th October from 4pm EAT.
