Gor Mahia overcame Shabana FC 4-3 in post match penalties to book a final date with Bandari FC in the final of the ODM at 20 tournament.

With both teams using the tie to sharpen their claws in the international break, Gor looked to be headed for an easy victory when Samuel Kapen gave them the lead after firing past his former teammate Caleb Omondi in the Shabana goal.

The Peter Okidi side however upped the tempo in the second half and deservingly restored parity through new signing Henry Obinno after they exposed the cracks in the KOgalo defence.

The goal seems to have added some sparks into the game with Felix Oluoch and Lawrence Juma missing glorious scoring opportunities just after Erick Otieno and Wycliffe Omondi came close for Shabana and with no one getting the better of the other in regular time, the game was forced to go into penalties where Gor emerged winners.

With Bandari edging AFC Leopards earlier at the same venue, Gor will now face the former with the winner of the tournament walking home with Ksh1 million.
