Harambee Stars winger Ayub Timbe might be on his way out of China according to sources close to Pepeta.
The winger was absent as his club-Beijing Renhe-begun their journey in the Chinese League One (second tier) with a 3-2 loss at the hands of Chengdu Better City on Saturday.
According to the source, the player’s agent is working round the clock to find him a new club in the current window with a return to Belgium muted as a possibility.

“He might not be part of the team (Beijing Renhe) as his contract is coming to an end. He is a player who can’t be short of offers and they are looking for what’s better for him probably a new home before the current window closes,” the source said.
Timbe last action came in the colors of English Championship side Reading FC where he was on loan and according to the source, the player returned to Belgium for his holiday.
Timbe joined Renhe in 2017 on a three year deal from Belgium side Lierse and has gone to score 17 goals in 49 appearances for the club. Apart from reading, Renhe once loaned the player to Chinese side Heilongjang Lava Spring where he bagged two goals in six appearances.
In Belgium, apart from Lierse, the winger has represented Genk, Anderlecht and Germinal Beershot.
