Greek giants PAOK FC are interested in the services of Harambee Stars midfielder Collins Sichenje.

 

Since joining AFC Leopards in August 2019 from Green Commandos, Sichenje has been one of the most consistent player for the cub and has recently received a call up to the national team Harambee Stars who are currently preparing for their clashes next month against Egypt and Togo.

According to Pepeta sources, PAOK is yet to table an official bid for the player but the same is expected in the coming days with the player’s representative having started the necessary paper works for the transfer.

 

A loan deal has been muted as a possibility with the player set to be drafted in their junior side where he is expected to be integrated to the senior team should he impress during his loan spell.

Founded in 1962, PAOK whose colors are black and white, have won the Greek Super League three times with the team emerging winners of the Greek Cup competition ins seven occasions. They are currently placed fourth in the Greek top tier with 43 points after 22 games; the same number of points; 14 points below leaders Olympiakos.

 

Sichenje won’t be the first player from the den to be linked with a move to Europe in recent months with the same having surfaced with Austin Odhiambo last season this after the club had loaned out defender Yusuf Mainge to Slovakia top flight side KF Pohronie earlier on.
