FKF Premier League side AFC Leopards are interested in the services of Rwandan striker Arthur Gitego from Marines FC.
The 20-year-old has just six months left on his Marines contract and according to the Times of Rwanda, Leopards want the player to sort their goal-scoring problems as they seek to get their season back on track.

The player has previously been linked with a move to Georgian club FC Gagra and Tunisia’s CA Bizertin but no deal went through as his club seek to get some money for his services instead of losing him for free.
The player’s stock has risen after featuring for Rwanda in the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe in November 2023 and is considered as one of the best prospects in the country who ought to have started his professional journey already.
Leopards are currently 14th on the Kenyan Premier League table with 15 points after 16 games this is largely due to their lack of goals in games where they have scored just 12 goals; the second-lowest tally in the Kenyan top flight this season.
The Thomas Trucha side will be hoping to find a scoring touch before any move starting with Ulinzi Stars this weekend.
