Harambee Stars striker Alfred Scriven will be looking for a new club after parting ways with IF Hodd of Norway.

Scriven has been a consistent figure for Stars under coach Engin Firat after helping his side get promotion to 1 Division (the country’s second tier last season) and scoring 8 goals in 24 appearances for his club last year where they finished 14th in the 16-team league.

Pepeta has since learned that the player has failed to renew his contract which expired at the end of December 2023 and is weighing his options ahead of the new season and he hopes to find a new home before the end of January 2024.

The striker who can slot in either wing too won the club’s Player of the Season Award in November 2023 having made his debut for Harambee Stars in March last year in a friendly match against Iran.

The player who has spent all his career in Norway started his football with Hallingdal FK before being loaned out to Mjondalen in 2018. He represented Ullensaker and Asker too in the Scandinavian country before moving to Hodd in 2021 where he spent the past three years.

In his professional club career, Scriven has bagged 35 goals in 139 appearances providing 8 assists in the process.
