Former Gor Mahia defender Frank Odhiambo has completed a season-long loan move to AFC Eskilstuna from Djugardens IF.
The player has found games hard to come by since moving to Djugardens and had loan spells with IFK Haninge and IF Vasalunds previously in his bid to become a regular with his parent club.

Djugardens thought of offloading the player once again with Eskilstuna bagging his signature. In confirming his arrival, the club said: “AFC Eskilstuna and Djurgårdens IF have agreed on a season-long loan of the back-rock Frank “The Tank” Odhiambo.
“Frank is a physically strong and well-travelled centre-back who is happy to contribute offensively in the build-up game. In addition, he has proven to be dangerous in the opponents’ penalty area with a strong head game.
The player had already joined his new teammates earlier in the week and is hoping that he can get some playing time when they take on Sleipner in a friendly match on Saturday.
The team who were relegated from the Superettan (Swedish second tier) last season after finishing 16th will begin life in the third tier away to Nordic United on 30th March 2024.
The club has also been linked with a move for another Kenyan striker Henry Meja who is currently contracted at AIK.
