FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia have confirmed the arrival of left-back Levin Odhiambo from Tusker FC for an undisclosed period.
The defender whose contract with Tusker expired last week was a target for K’Ogalo in the last transfer but Tusker is said to have quoted an exorbitant amount for his services something that Gor found amusing considering he only had a few months left on his deal.

Captured by the Robert Matano side in March 2023 from Mathare United, Odhiambo who signed a one-year deal then has been a key player for the Ruaraka-based side but games have been hard to come by since expressing his desire to leave the club earlier this year.
A move to Sweden earlier in the year where he was on a month-long trial didn’t help his chances either in the team but he has been a dedicated servant to the club and was part of the team that travelled to Kisumu over the weekend as they were eliminated from the Mozzartbet Cup by Kakamega Homeboyz.
While Gor have secured the player’s services, it remains to be seen if they will register him for games as he wasn’t a free agent before the closure of the last transfer window. According to FIFA Rules on Players transfer; “Players may only be registered during one of the two annual registration periods fixed by the relevant associations. As an exception to this rule, a professional whose contract has expired before the end of a registration period may be registered outside the registration period.”
