The former Harambee Stars head coach has been linked with a move to Tanzania and we gauge his next possible destination in the country.
The country’s big clubs Yanga and Simba SC seem set with their tacticians and the same story would be with Ihefu FC and Azam FC. Of all the teams in the Tanzania Premier League, only Tabora United and Coastal Union are yet to submit names for their head coaches ahead of the new season.
Tabora are manager-less following the departure of Goran Kopunovic earlier in the year with the position having been held by Masoud Djuma on an interim basis. There are reports that the team had approached another Kenyan Francis Baraza for the vacant position but he declined the offer.
The second possible destination for Kimanzi would be Coastal Union who are yet to hand head coach David Ouma a new deal despite the tactician leading them to the CAF Confederations Cup where they are slated to take on Bravos do Maquis in the first preliminary round of the competition next month.
